Google Pixel to get new Call Screen capabilities, beta testing underway

Google has started testing some new abilities for its Pixel devices and the latest one is Call Screen features. The company is actively working on the effective capability and some lucky phone owners can explore it in the early stage.

Notably, the tech maker announced the beta testing of Call Screen capabilities for Google Pixel devices in mid-May. After that, users noticed easy and simplified Call Screen settings with new protection level options that rolled out widely. These are:

  • Maximum: Screen unknown numbers and decline spam
  • Medium: Screen suspicious calls and decline spam
  • Basic: Decline only known spam

Currently, the manufacturer is working on a more natural-sounding series of voice prompts to determine who’s calling and why. The tech giant further explains that this activity is running for Pixel 6 and newer devices in the US.
