Google will use self-developed chip in Pixel 6
Google is currently gearing up to introduce its Pixel 6 series smartphones. A few months ago, the company announced that it will be using a self-developed Tensor chip in Pixel 6.
Although this case seems interesting to people, but Qualcomm may not think the same, as it means that Google will reduce cooperation with Qualcomm. In regards, Qualcomm has recently shared its thoughts on Twitter.

Qualcomm said, “We have decided to manufacture our own smartphone processors instead of using Snapdragon processors.” However, Qualcomm did not directly name the names, it clearly aimed at Google.
Google announced the Tensor chip in August this year. Google Pixel 6 equipped with Tensor chip appeared on Geekbench on October 13, revealing that the processor has a single-core running score of 1027 and a multi-core running score of 2706.
Apart from this, the machine is also equipped with Mali G78 GPU. As the first chip developed by Google, the Tensor chip can process AI and ML models directly on the phone, providing a better experience for cameras, voice recognition, and other tasks.
Google said that it will use self-developed chips on its high-end product Pixel 6 series, its mid-end product Pixel 5a is still equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chip, which is equipped with a 6.3-inch punch-hole display.
It has an IP67 level of dust and water resistance and is also equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is priced at US$449 (approximately 2909 Yuan). Therefore, Google has not completely abandoned Qualcomm, and the two companies will continue to collaborate.
