HarmonyOS 2.0 stable update rolling out for these Huawei devices

Huawei has released yet another HarmonyOS 2.0 stable update for the 27 Huawei devices in China. Users of these eligible models can now directly upgrade to the HarmonyOS 2.0 software via OTA without participating in the beta activity.

The list of devices getting the stable version includes smartphones from Nova, Enjoy, Mate series, and MatePad tablets. These models have appeared in the beta testing and began their HarmonyOS 2.0 and the second and third batch of closed beta recruitment.

The HarmonyOS 2.0 for Huawei devices brings a whole bunch of new things including a new home screen, Service Widgets, Smart Folder, HarmonyOS Fonts, Super Device, and more. It comes with strong privacy with a collaborative security feature.

The stable HarmonyOS 2.0 update will automatically show up on your devices via OTA and you can directly upgrade from the Settings or the Support app.

If the update has arrived, then it is recommended that you should download the package over a WiFi connection, while maintaining enough battery on your device.

What about HarmonyOS 2.0 for global users?

Huawei is currently conducting the HarmonyOS 2.0 rollout in China, while the users worldwide are waiting for their turn and so do the aforementioned device owners. However, Huawei is soon expected to release a full-proof plan for global users.
