According to the latest information, Huawei has released HarmonyOS 2 (Hongmeng OS 2) closed beta update for Huawei P20 and Mate 10 flagship phones. Further, the company has also revealed the no-log version likely to announce later this month.
Though the beta testing is available for a limited number of users, it is soon expected to expand in China. Even the global expansion is in waiting, several Huawei and Honor users worldwide are eager to test this new operating system.

As for the Huawei P20 and Mate 20, the latest HarmonyOS 2 closed beta firmware can be identified with the software versionĀ 2.0.0.136.
Apart from the Huawei P20 and Mate 10, the closed beta update is also available for several Huawei and Honor devices too. Below you can check the list of all those devices.

Besides any new changes and features, the closed beta notice for Mate 10 and P20 devices reveals a non-log version. And nearly 2000 models from each of the following lineup will be eligible to take part in the testing program.

Huawei launched the HarmonyOS 2.0 on June 02 with a brand new home screen, lock screen, service widgets, HarmonyOS fonts, and much more. It is even more secure than the previous EMUI with the new Collaborative Security feature.
Moreover, a newly added Super Device feature lets users control many devices using a single supermodel. There are several other features as well that you will know deeply once you test this operating system.
Furthermore, Huawei has big aims with its self-developed operating system. The company was planning to install the OS in around 300 million devices by the end of the year. While looking at the speed, it further extended the number to 350 million.
