In a previous article, we explained that WhatsApp was working on Expiring Media, that feature permits users to remove an image, GIF, and video in the recipient’s phone, once he views the item.
According to Wabetainfo, this feature is currently accessible for the beta tester and there is a new button called “view once” that will allow users to use this feature.
When the media is sent using this option, the recipient can view it just once
When the user leaves the chat, there is now a bubble that says “view once” the photo expired.
Overall, there is no confirmation about the rollout of the expiring media feature but it may soon be released for public WhatsApp users.
