HP Omen 16 2021 is world’s first laptop with AMD Radeon RX 6000M Graphics
HP announced the Omen 16 2021 laptop – and it was the world’s first model with AMD Radeon RX 6000M discrete graphics. It is not clear which dGPU on the RDNA2 architecture is meant, but with equal probability, it can be both the Radeon RX 6700M and the Radeon RX 6600M.
The premiere of the mobile 3D accelerators of the Radeon RX 6000 line is expected during an official AMD event, timed to coincide with the opening of Computex 2021. It will take place on June 1.

As for the Omen 16 2021 itself, in addition to the Radeon RX 6000M, it can also be equipped with a GeForce RTX 3070. The top-end Intel Core i7-11800H and AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX are used as processors.
True, the configurations of the model have not yet been presented, so it is not clear whether it will be possible to combine the Ryzen 9 5900HX with the GeForce RTX 3070, and, for example, the Core i7-11800H with the Radeon RX 6000M.
The maximum amount of laptop RAM is 32 GB DDR4-3200 MHz, there are two M.2 slots inside for installing an SSD, the maximum volume is 2 TB. The HP Omen 16 2021 will go on sale in the US in June starting at $ 1,050, but that cost is clearly not for the version with the Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU.
