Similarly, the Huawei Cloud data center has three types of layouts – cold, warm, and hot. Wherein, the code service is built in low-cost locations and warm service can be close to low-cost locations along the coast. While the hot service should be deployed in locations closer to customer needs.
Earlier, Tencent mentioned that it has layouts in Guizhou, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, and Chengdu-Chongqing hubs. On the other hand, a report reveals that a major data center Ulanqab is located at the inner Mongolia hub node of “East and West”.
However, around 20,000 10-kilowatt cabinets will be constructed at the Ulanqab data center. After completion, it is expected to support 300,000 servers on the go.
The National Development and Reform Commission, the Central Cyberspace Administration of eight locations, including Inner Mongolia, Guizhou, Gansu, and Ningxia, started the construction of national computing power hub nodes. However, 10 national data center clusters are also planned.
