Huawei denies the rumor of launching two 6G satellites
According to the latest information, Huawei has officially denied the rumor that says “Huawei is about to launch two satellites to seize the opportunity of 6G research and development” as false news.
It was previously reported that in July this year, Huawei will launch two satellites in cooperation with China Mobile and China Aerospace. This time Huawei’s satellite launch is intended to enter 6G and take the lead in the 6G R&D.

Earlier this year, 6G the Intellectual Property Development Research Center of the State Intellectual Property Office released the Communication Technology Patent Development Report. The report revealed that the global patent applications in the 6G communication technology field exceeded 38,000. Among these, the Chinese patent application was around 35% ranking first in the world.
In the early November of 2019, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China launched a 6G R&D IMT-2030 promotion group. Following this, there were a number of seminars held on 6G, and 37 industry-university research institutions participated.
