Huawei will release HarmonyOS 2 testing for Honor X10, 30s and more later this month

According to the latest information, Huawei is going to open the HarmonyOS 2.0 beta testing in the fourth phase this month. And the eligible Honor device will get the chance to enter the beta program including Honor 30S, X10 Max, Play 4, and more.

Huawei has recently seeded the HarmonyOS beta for the first batch of Honor devices which consisted of Honor 30, V30, 20, V20, and more. Now, the company is looking forward to expanding the beta program for more of the Honor devices.

Honor devices up next for HarmonyOS 2 beta testing:

  • Honor 30S
  • Honor 30 Youth Edition
  • Honor X10
  • Honor X10 Max
  • Honor Play 4

The exact date of the beta rollout for these aforementioned devices is yet to come and we will let you know at the time of rollout. However, this beta program is currently limited to China and will soon expand globally in the coming days.

If we go by the rollout plan, the company should release the HM OS for these Honor phones in the fourth quarter but the speedy rollout of Huawei has made it earlier than scheduled.

Talking about what the HarmonyOS 2.0 brings, it carries a bunch of new features and functionalities. It includes a new home screen, service widgets, control panel, new HarmonyOS fonts, and more. There’s this new function called super device, that lets the users control a bunch of devices using a single supermodel.
