Huawei HarmonyOS Eligible Devices
With its operating system called HarmonyOS, Huawei is preparing to challenge the reign of Android in the smartphone world. But will it be able to even reach the level of Android? that’s a big question.
Last year in May, Huawei was blacklisted by the U.S. and banned from doing business with U.S. companies. Following this, Google has stopped supplying its proprietary Mobile Services to Huawei, causing a big business loss for the Chinese company in the smartphone business in the overseas market.
To overcome from its mobile software challenges and to prepare for the future, Huawei announced HarmonyOS at HDC 2019. This new OS is a new-microkernel-based, distributed OS developed for the cross-device experience.

HarmonyOS is not out in the open and Huawei has still explained how it will create a full-blown application ecosystem for the consumers. Even if it creates an application ecology for the domestic users (Chinese) but it’ll have to make big moves for European markets, which it’s losing day by day.
