Huawei launched the HarmonyOS 2.0 on June 02, beginning a new chapter of its mobile operating system. At the time of launch itself, the company has made it clear, to install HarmonyOS on the maximum number of devices.
Following the goal, it is now reported that HarmonyOS 2 installation has exceeded 18 million installations in less than half a month. Huawei started recruiting HarmonyOS 2 since its launch on June 02 starting the beta testing with the topmost devices.

The Chinese OEM has promised to upgrade even 5-year-old smartphones with the new HarmonyOS 2.0 and install it on 100 devices. It started the beta testing with 28 devices and then added more later on.
In just one week, the HM OS exceeded 10 million installations, suggesting that Huawei’s high ambitions with its new OS. Further, the company has decided on installing the new operating system in more than 300 million devices this year.
As of now, the first stable version of HarmonyOS 2.0 is also released for 18 devices including the Mate 40, P40, Mate 30, Mate X2, and MatePad Pro. The beta program and the stable version, both will expand to more devices in the coming days.
This data is just limited to China and the global rollout is yet to begin. It suggests that the company is moving forward towards its goal at a high speed. It’s a good sign for the global users as well, meanwhile, the announcement is still awaited from the company.
