Huawei Mate 10 users getting a new software update with security improvements
Huawei Mate 10 Pro is the older smartphone from Huawei that was launched in the year 2017 and came pre-installed with the EMUI 8.0. The device received two major upgrades and it currently runs on EMUI 10.
According to the latest information (Huawei Central), After a long time, Huawei is sending a new update to the Huawei Mate 10 Pro users which brings November 2020 security update for improved system security and device stability. Huawei Mate 10 Pro users can identify the update with the EMUI version 10.0.0.183 that carries an update size of 274MB.
The update is currently limited to some regions and will gradually expand in the coming days. It is rolling out in batches so it may take some time to reach your device.

How to update:
Download via Settings:
- Open Settings
- Click on the System & updates
- Open Software update
- Tap on Check for updates option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
Download via Support app:
- Open the Support app on your device
- Go to the Service tab
- Click on the update button
- Tap on Check for update option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
