Huawei Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro getting new display and system improvements via OTA
The Mate 40 series is the latest flagship from Huawei that comes with a bunch of premium features. These were one of the first smartphones to test the beta for the latest EMUI 11 which is currently rolling out for the other older Huawei devices.
In the previous update, the Mate 40 devices received the system parameter update which added the support for the 90 fps for the Honor of King game for lower latency and to provide a smooth user experience.
Now, as per the info, a new software update is releasing for the Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro phones that mainly bring improvements for display and system for an enhanced user experience. Other than the improvements there is no new feature added via this update.
Users of the Mate 40 device can identify this update with the EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.165 SP1. And for the Mate 40 Pro, the latest EMUI 11 version is 11.0.0.165 SP2. While the previous EMUI version for both the phones is 11.0.0.160.

It is worth mentioning that the update is currently rolling out in batches and it may take some time to reach your device. And if you have received the update on your smartphone then here are the steps to update.
How to update:
Download via Settings:
Open Settings > then click on System & updates. After opening a Software update, tap on Check for updates option. If the update is available to download then click Download and install. And after installation Reboot the device.
Download via Support app:
Open the Support app on your device and then go to the Service tab. Click on the Update button and then tap on Check for update option. If the update is available then click on Download and install. After installation Reboot the device.
