Huawei is now expanding its HarmonyOS 2.0 as it opens new slots for the MatePad Pro 10.8 tablets for closed beta testing. The interested users can register for the closed beta on their MatePad Pro 10.8 tablet via My Huawei App > Closed Beta Registration and then register by following on-screen instructions.
For your information, this tablet was launched pre-packed with the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system and was the first in Huawei’s tablet lineup to have this OS pre-installed. Even then, Huawei is recruiting closed beta for this tablet.

The new HarmonyOS comes with a bunch of new features and functionalities along with better security. It brings a brand new home screen, service widget, control panel, and much more. A new extraordinary Super device feature also lets you control a bunch of devices using a single super device.
Though there is no information as to what new features or changes this beta will bring for the MatePad Pro users and we can expect some general improvements and fixes, but at the moment there is no clue about that too.

Things to remember before you update:
Before downloading, maintain at least 6GB of space on your device and make sure your device is not ROOT. Also, ensure the current device version on the recruited baseline version. If you do not fill in your info correctly then you may not receive the new version.

Huawei MatePad Pro tablet comes with a 10.8-inch display and is powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC. It comes pre-installed with the new HarmonyOS 2.0. The chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM and two storage options as 128/256GB.
The tablet equips a massive 7520mAh battery for a long battery backup. In terms of camera, there is a single 13MP camera on the rear, whereas the selfie camera accounts for an 8MP.
