Huawei is currently rolling out its latest EMUI 11 OS for eligible devices. The EMUI 11 major upgrade brings a bunch of new and exciting features such as improved always-on display, smoother animations, multi-screen collaboration, super notepad, and more.

Meanwhile, the company is also sending regular security updates for Huawei smartphones for improved system security and device stability. As per the latest info, Huawei Nova 7 SE phones are now getting January 2021 security patch to boost the performance of the device.

The Huawei Nova 7 SE smartphones are currently running on EMUI version 10.1 and there are questions whether these smartphone users will get to taste the EMUI 11 or not. The latest update can be identified via the EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.1.206 updated from version 10.1.1.205.

Besides this, the update does not add any new feature for smartphones. It is important to note that the security improvements are currently rolling out in batches and may take some time to reach your device. If you have already received it over the air then here are the steps to download it.

How to update:

Download via Settings:

Open Settings > then click on System & updates. After opening a Software update, tap on Check for updates option. If the update is available to download then click Download and install. And after installation Reboot the device.

Download via Support app:

Open the Support app on your device and then go to the Service tab. Click on the Update button and then tap on Check for update option. If the update is available then click on Download and install. After installation Reboot the device.
