Huawei is now set to push the new HarmonyOS 2 operating system to its smartphones, tablets, and several other devices, starting with the Huawei Mate 40 series, Mate 30 series, P40 series, Mate X2, Nova 8 series, MatePad Pro, and more.
Meanwhile, this new operating system comes pre-installed with few applications and there’s also support for third-party apps.
However, there are not enough apps on the Huawei App Gallery for fulfilling user’s requirements.

Therefore, the company is now offering HarmonyOS Zone in its official app store which shows applications that are already supported for the new OS.
This will make it easier for HarmonyOS users to find and install supported apps. Users can search for “HarmonyOS” or “HongMeng” in the App Marketplace to find the dedicated zone.
Besides, the apps which you will search are going to be tagged with “HMOS” in the corner of the icon.
