Huawei P20 and Mate 10 HarmonyOS 2 beta testing to start in mid-July
Huawei is releasing back-to-back updates, whether it’s the beta update or the regular security patch. According to the latest info, the company has officially confirmed the fourth batch of HarmonyOS 2.0 beta testing for Mate 10 and P20 series of phones, and the rollout will start in mid-July this year.
If the rollout happens in mid-July, it will be more than one or two quarters ahead of what was planned previously. We will get to know more about the update once the company opens the recruits for the testers. You can check the full list of the eligible models below:

- Huawei Mate 10
- Huawei Mate 10 Pro
- Huawei Mate 10 RS
Meanwhile, it should be noted that the HarmonOS 2.0 beta activity is currently limited to China and will soon expand internationally. Further, Huawei aims big with the new operating system, as the company has already announced that it is expected to upgrade nearly 300 million devices by the end of the year. And among them, 200 million will be its own devices and the rest will be others.

Well, as of now, the fourth batch of beta testing on its way to the Huawei P20 and Mate 10 and this is way ahead of the expected timeline. Looking at the speeding up of the process of HarmonyOS 2 rollout, the company is soon expected to announce the beta program outside the homeland for global users.
