Huawei predicted 100 million phones will experience HarmonyOS this year

At the Huawei Global Analyst Conference on April 12, Huawei’s Vice-Chairman and Rotating Chairman, Eric Xu explained the overall strategy, which will be executed over the next few days.

In addition, Eric Xu stated that Huawei will continue to create a full-scenarios experience as well as improve hardware and software service capabilities to provide new user experiences and make consumers’ lives easier.

He said that in the context of HarmonyOS, the company aims to provide self-built operating systems to commercial consumers. Furthermore, it is estimated that by 2021, 100 million devices will be able to experience HarmonyOS.

Previously, at the TEDxHouHai event, Drs. Wang stated that HarmonyOS is a new generation of smart device operating systems that provide a unified language for intelligence, interaction and collaboration of different devices.

Earlier, Huawei’s vice chairman and rotating chairman, Ken Yu pointed out that HarmonyOS has attracted more than 20 hardware vendors and 280 application vendors to participate in ecological construction.

Also, Huawei will officially release HarmonyOS for smartphones in April this year. In addition, at the Mate X2 lunch event, it also announced that the first devices that will install the latest operating system, HarmonyOS will include the Mate X2 and more models.
