Huawei Nova 7i has joined the September 2021 Security update rollout belt and the company started to send this latest update for the devices. The global users have been receiving the continued software update for months and the latest addition will further enhance its security.
To be mentioned, the September 2021 update comes with EMUI 10.1 software version – 10.1.0.350 and a software package size of 169MB for Huawei Nova 7i smartphones. This rollout is currently under the initial stage and may take some time to reach every consumer, so wait patiently until it reaches your devices.
Huawei Nova 7i comes with EMUI 10 pre-installed and the phone maker has been provided with an upgrade over EMUI 10.1. However, the phone didn’t upgrade with EMUI 11 software system. On the other side, the Chinese version is eligible for HarmonyOS 2.0.
Important Notes:
The device must have a better battery backup to install this update that is a minimum of 50%. It’s compulsory to check your storage availability(Internal/External SDcard) to download the latest update as per the size required. A strong WiFi/mobile data connection is required for a buffer-free download of the package. Besides, don’t forget to prepare an advance backup of important data.
How to install this update:
To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.
Alternatively, you can also request software updates through the Huawei Support app. To do this, open the Support app in your system and go to the Service tab on the bottom bar. Now, tap on the Update option and then select Check for updates. If an update is available then you can select it to download and install.
