The Chinese company, Huawei Technology, is bringing a new app called “Huawei Search”, reports Huawei Central. This app will be used as a part of the Huawei HMS ecosystem and will replace the Google app.
The app offers features such as instant searches, quick views widgets and newsfeeds. Except for all in one search results, users can also sort searches for Videos, News, and Images categories.
According to Huawei Central, the Huawei Search app will be available for Huawei and Honor devices soon on AppGallery. As new devices likely to come pre-install with this app.
Huawei taking these new steps after the US prohibits it from pre-installing Google’s apps and services such as Gmail, PlayStore, Maps and more.
In addition to Huawei Search app, Huawei already has Huawei Browserpre-loaded in its devices that comes with all required searching features.
Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) aims to provide complete mobile experience to Huawei and Honor device users. With official services such as Mobile Cloud, AppGallery, Video, Themes, ScreenMagazine and etc. which comes along with EMUI operating system.
