According to the latest information, Huawei plans to launch three new foldable smartphones in the second half of 2021. Back in February this year, the company launched its new smartphone – Huawei Mate X2.

Some sources said that Huawei may adopt more favorable pricing and it is expected that it can target the entry-level market and stimulate foldable smartphone sales.
Other smartphone makers, including Samsung Electronics and Asustek, may also launch new foldable models in the second half of this year.
The research estimates that due to the launch of new phones, global shipments of foldable smartphones could reach 7 million units by 2021, up from an estimated 2.8 million a year earlier.
As per the data from Digitimes Research, the popularity of new foldable smartphones will also increase global shipments of AMOLED panels in foldable smartphones in 2021 to 12 million from 4.4 million a year earlier.
