Hyundai and Kia confirms the end of discussion with Apple for its autonomous driving cars
After becoming king of the iPhone market, Apple is now looking to capture the automobile market as well. The company is planning to introduce its first car and it was said that the US tech firm is already in discussion with Hyundai and its subsidiary Kia.
And now according to the latest news, Hyundai and Kia said that they aren’t in talks with Apple over self-driving electric vehicles. Although, nothing can be said if the partnership is called off forever or for just for an interval.
Apple’s discussion with Hyundai, Kia, and other automobile companies was confirmed by Hyundai itself. Although after some time, the company moved back with the decision and said that it has received requests for the developments of autonomous EVs from various companies.

As reported previously, Apple has also started to invest in Kia motors as a part of the planned partnership between the two giants. Although, nothing can be said for the Apple cars as to when the company will introduce its first autonomous EV.
Furthermore, it is believed the Apple cars are still years away and the prediction claims that the company might be launching its first car between 2024 and 2028. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we receive something new on this.
