iPad Air 4 cleared FCC approval for sale in US, could be available for pre-order from Oct. 16
The iPad Air was unveiled by Apple in its September event along with the Watch Series 6, Apple Watch SE, and iPad Eighth generation. Although, the iPad is still not available to buy and Apple said to make it available at some time in October.

A new FCC (Federal Communications Commission) filing reveals that the new iPad is approved to go on sale in the United States. FCC approval is a must before selling the hardware that includes any kind of radio signals including LTE.
Leaker Jon Prosser believes that iPad Air will be available for pre-order from October 16 earlier than its retail availability on October 23. Best Buy has also listed the iPad Air along with the launch date.

iPad Air comes with the A14 Bionic processor which also power’s the latest iPhone 12 lineup. The new iPad comes with a flat edge design similar to iPad Pro and a new Touch ID mounted in the power button for the first time. It comes in many new colors which are Silver, Space Grey, Rose Gold, and Sky Blue, and starts from $599 for the 64GB variant.
