iPhone 13 may reduce production by 10 million units this year

Japan Display is Apple’s screen supplier, and more than half of its revenue comes from Apple. The company’s share price fell as much as 5.6% today, its biggest drop in two months. Reportedly, it was down 2.78% as of press time.

Moreover, LG Innotek of South Korea supplies camera modules for the iPhone, and its share price fell 6.2% now and 2.59% as of press time.

Apple’s acoustic component supplier AAC Technologies issued a profit warning due to supply chain issues, and its stock price has fallen by more than 10% since last Thursday.

In addition to Asian suppliers, Apple’s US suppliers are also affected by the news of iPhone 13 production cuts. The share prices of Broadcom, Texas Instruments, Skylink Communications Technology, and Lingyun Semiconductor all fell in after-hours trading on Tuesday.
