June 2023 Android Feature Drop released with new wallpapers, Emoji Workshop, and more

Google has finally released the June 2023 Android Feature Drop for Pixel devices. After a long wait, the company has pushed off the new update with a bunch of tweaks, improvements, changes, and optimizations for the top-end Pixel models.

To begin with, the June 2023 Android Feature Drop introduces Cinematic Wallpapers and Emoji Workshop. With the help of Tensor chipsets and its AI functionalities, the Pixel 6 and newer phones can turn your 2D wallpaper images into dynamic 3D snaps, giving a magical look to the home screen.

Meanwhile, the new emoji workshop brings you the ability to mix and match over 4000 emoji with different patterns and colors. Users can even create live wallpapers that can fit their moods and personality. Also, there is a choice to pick up to 14 emojis to display with a normal keyboard picker.

Get clean and clear shots of the butterflies fluttering or flowers waving in the wind, without any blur effect. Besides, the update also brings a selfie timer that can be set by raising your palm to the phone.

Home Panel

Yes! This is another big addition that is coming on Pixel phones. As you tap on the home icon in the bottom-left corner of the lock screen or Quick Settings tile, a new outlook will show up, matching the Google Home app’s Favorites tab.
