Latest Honor 9S update brings new apps and system optimization for users
Huawei’s former brand- Honor 9S with a 5.45 LCD display producing HD+ (1440 x 720p) resolution equipped with MediaTek Helio P22 processor, Magic UI 3.1, 2GB+32GB storage, 3020mAh battery, and more. This Honor phone is now receiving a new software update that brings a number of new improvements and addition to the phone.
Now, the latest software rollout for the Honor 9S update comes with calling improvements as well as a number of new mobile apps – Huawei Books, Linknow, and more. These additions to the Honor 9S will surely bring a new user experience for the Honor 9S consumers.
HOW TO UPDATE:
Download via Settings:
- Open Settings
- Click on the System & Updates
- Open Software update
- Tap on Check for updates option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
Download via Support app:
- Open the Support app on your device
- Go to the Service tab
- Click on the update button
- Tap on Check for update option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
What’s new in this update:
The latest Honor 9S update comes with Magic UI 3.1.0.154 software version an up update package size of 576MB.

- The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
