As we know the Indian government has banned a bundle of Chinese apps from its region. But there are a set of Realme and Xiaomi smartphones that already had some of these restricted apps installed.

According to the latest inforamtion, it seems that the latest MIUI 12 update for Redmi K20 Pro allows users to uninstall many of Xiaomi’s preinstalled apps including the Mi Browser, Mi Video and more.
The new MIUI 12-based update brings the September security patch with the software version MIUI V12.0.3.0. This update removes all the banned app from the Redmi K20 devices in India.
However, it is unclear whether users are able to uninstall other bloatware apps that were not banned by the Indian government or not.
