Every Whatsapp user is aware of the delete for everyone feature and users can delete messages within a certain period of time. Four years ago, when Whatsapp released this possibility, the limit was set to 7 minutes, which means that if you send a message 8 minutes ago, you will not be able to delete it for everyone.

After a while, WhatsApp set the new limit to 4096 seconds: 1 hour, 8 minutes, and 16 seconds. And now, with this new update, Whatsapp is testing a new version of “Delete for Everyone”, which will increase the limit to a new undefined time in future updates.

According to WABetaInfo (Via SammyFans), this new version allows the deletion of messages sent 3 months ago. In addition, this new feature allows messages to be deleted for everyone, regardless of whether the message has been sent or not.

However, this new version is currently under development, so nothing has been confirmed before it becomes an active feature for Beta testers. Additionally, WhatsApp may allow the deletion of sent messages before activating this feature. But in this case, you can only delete messages sent after activating the function.
