Recently, Lenovo Tab P12 Pro gets Android 13 Developer Preview Version 2. The new update, defined by Lenovo as a “developer preview” based on the beta version, will be available on tablets for the first time starting in May. And, of course, it has its own caveats and drawbacks. The same is true for all pre-releases from Lenovo or other OEMs.

Android 13 is optimized for larger screens, with improved features such as multitasking, compatibility support, system UI optimization, and more. Now, the only major change Lenovo has hinted at with Android 13 Beta 2 for the Tab P12 Pro isn’t that big. Along with this update, it also brings June 2022 Android security patch.
Completing the manual firmware flash should bring most of the major changes found in next-gen Android versions. However, aside from the fact that this is a beta build, there are other caveats to consider.

- Download the flash SW package and follow the instructions in the package to install and configure your PC environment.
- Download the Android 13 Beta 2 image to your local drive, extract it and flash the device according to the instructions in the SW flash package.
