Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg told analyst Ben Thompson earlier this month that Meta Quest 3 is in development and could be priced between $300 and $500, which would make the Meta Quest 3 in development.
Bringing it more in line with previous Quest headsets — the Quest 2 starts at $299, rather than the latest Quest Pro. While the Quest 3 may be cheaper than the Quest Pro, there are indications that the Meta Quest 3 may include some elements of a high-end VR headset.
According to a previous report by UploadVR, Zuckerberg has said that face and eye tracking will be “a big focus”, and at least one early revelation suggests that the Quest 3 may have a “Pancake” similar to the Quest Pro lens”, which can reduce the thickness of the device.
