Microsoft openly teases Apple in its latest Surface Laptop 4 advertisement

Posted on

Microsoft has released a new advertisement for its latest Surface laptop which openly teases Apple’s MacBook. The ad star is a familiar character in the recently launched Surface ad. This time it is the new Surface Laptop 4 for MacBook Air.

The usual host brought his sister, who immediately complained about the lack of a touch screen on the Mac. Obviously, this is a key feature on any Surface device. As usual, they also touted the Surface Laptop 4’s USB Type-A port, saying: “Better bring your dongle.”

The 30-second ad also involves games, which is another thing that Microsoft can easily boast of. Next is a short clip, two of which are used with Xbox controllers, nothing more.

The Redmond-based company seems to shoot Apple frequently, but there is a reason. Not necessarily intending to attract Mac users to Windows. Frankly speaking, Apple is the only hardware competitor that can compete fairly. Any alternative to Cupertino will be an attack on Microsoft Windows partners.

Surface Laptop 4 was originally released a few weeks ago. In addition to the new Ice Blue color scheme, it also has new processors from Intel and AMD. If you want to check out on the Microsoft Store, you can find it here.
