Motorola Edge 40 receives second August 2023 security update

Motorola has kicked off the second August 2023 security update for the newly launched Edge 40 devices. Last month, the company released the first firmware and it’s time to grab some more security enhancements with another part of this iteration.

The second August 2023 security update for Motorola Edge 40 handsets comes with the Android 13 version T2TLS33.3-49-2-2. Users of this device will have to download a software package of 41.92 megabytes to obtain the latest safety fixes and improvements.

Adding more, the new firmware improves some internal functions of the smartphone. It further enhances the stability and security aspects to provide a seamless experience to users. In addition, it brings fixes to hidden vulnerabilities, and performance enhancements that can deliver smoother usability of the device.
