Mozilla Firefox will no longer support these Apple macOS versions

Posted on

Mozilla recently announced that Firefox will no longer support some of the old Apple macOS versions. As of now, one of the best browsing applications won’t be able to bring new improvements and benefits for those Mac owners, running on the more aged operating systems.

Apple always pushes new versions to keep its devices up-to-date. This action also helps in maintaining the security of the device and provides an enriched experience. But often such things lead to a few limitations, just as in the latest case.

Eventually, Firefox won’t support older Apple macOS versions. As per the details, the recently released Firefox 115 counts as the last app update for macOS Sierra 10.12, macOS High Sierra 10.13, and macOS Mojave 10.14. Mac users will now require the 10.15 OS to run the newest version of the web browser application.

Alongside Apple Mac, this “end of support” will also affect a few Windows owners. Particularly, Windows 7 and Windows 8. Here, users will need Windows 10 to grab the newest tweaks and changes to the application. This may also result in losing compatibility with some websites as they require new techs to run.

But as Mozilla says, the best thing you can do is upgrade your computer when possible. Hence, it is the only way to get rid of unusual lags, and buffers, and continue to receive beneficial treatments.
