Musk’s tunneling company The Boring Company announced that it will start a comprehensive test of the “Hyperloop” project. Meanwhile, the company confirmed the news on Twitter, along with a picture of a Tesla Model 3 being tested inside a “full-scale Hyperloop” tunnel.

As early as 2013, Musk proposed the high-speed transportation concept of “Hyperloop”, and completed the construction of the test site in 2018.
According to The Boring Company’s official website, Hyperloop technology can even allow passengers to move through underground tunnels at more than 600 miles per hour (about 965 kilometers) in electric cabins, from Washington, D.C. to New York City in 30 minutes.
In April, The Boring Company tweeted that it would begin “full” testing of the Hyperloop sometime this year. The Boring Company has built a tunnel network under Las Vegas that is completely different from the Hyperloop, and passengers can ride through the tunnel in Tesla electric vehicles.
Virgin Hyperloop, which competes with The Boring Company, reportedly abandoned the idea of using hyperloop technology to transport passengers earlier this year, focusing instead on delivering goods.
