To those who are unaware, Android RunTime is a major engine behind the Android OS. It provides the runtime and core APIs that all apps and most OS services rely on. Both Java and Kotlin are compiled down to bytecode executed by ART.

According to the details, the tech maker shared the latest ART 13 update and enhancements to Android Runtime which leads to a 30% faster app startup time. The update has further improved the execution speed, and memory usage, and offered the newest security fixes.
