Apple iOS 17.1 beta 2 is approaching eligible iPhone users. While the new firmware has noteworthy improvements, it also contains some codes that hint at Apple Pencil 3 with USB-C capability. Pay attention, it is something which has never existed before!
Well, by that statement we mean that Apple never introduced a USB-C function for its smart Pencils. But it looks like the company is going to change this trend in the time ahead. As per the reference codes in iOS 17.1 beta 2, Apple Pencil 3 will land on the user ground with a USB-C charging feature.
While exploring the beta 2 firmware, an iOS developer found a string related to the Apple Pencil code which reads:
“PENCIL_LOW_BATTERY_ALERT_MESSAGE” – “Connect to USB-C to recharge soon.”

Ahead, another line says ‘Apple Pencil Battery Very Low.’ Note that it is still unclear whether these codes reflect a new version of Apple Pencil or for the USB-C to Apple Pencil Adapter that enables the first-gen Pencil to be charged using a 10th-gen iPad.
