Obviously, as we have learned from the Mi community, this change introduced by Xiaomi has affected many of the company’s devices, especially the low-capacity ones. In these we find the Redmi Note 9, Redmi 9, Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C.
Furthermore, it is undisputed that the limitation will affect other smart phones such as POCO M3, which is also subject to certain restrictions in MIUI, such as the inability to activate “locks” in applications that prevent them from closing.
If you have been one of the affected people, do not worry. Fortunately, there is a way to reactivate the MIUI 12 Control Center on your mobile device.
How to enable the Control Center again on your Xiaomi
To re-enable Control Center on Xiaomi Smartphone, please follow the steps given below.
- Download the SetEdit application, available for free on Google Play Store.
- Once downloaded, start it and look for the value « use_control_panel «
- Edit the value of this parameter using the “EDIT VALUE” option, placing a ” 1 “
- Lastly, activate the MIUI 12 control center in a conventional way.
Of course, the Control Center may have some errors, so if this is not a requirement, we recommend that you wait until Xiaomi officially re-activates it for these affected devices.
