New YouTube feature will help you prevent accidental taps
YouTube is testing a new feature that will save you from unusual and accidental taps while watching a video. This is quite a common issue for most of us, but it looks like the company is finally trying to fix this annoyance in the upcoming app updates.
As per the latest revealings, YouTube is working on a Lock Screen feature that will restrict users from accidental taps on the display. When enabled and watching a video in full-screen mode, you will be able to display the touch inputs and pause the interaction with the screen.

Currently, the feature is in the development phase and is said to be available only for YouTube Premium users running Android or iOS on their devices. Perhaps, we could expect the functionality to make its way to the standard app in the time ahead.
