After several reports of the iPhone 15 Pro overheating issue, the company decided to release a fix with the next Apple iOS 17 update. The tech giant recently shared an official statement on this matter, citing that it will soon resolve the problem for its users.

Pointing out the root cause, Apple further said that the latest updates to third-party applications have overloaded the device system, resulting in the iPhone 15 Pro overheating issue. However, the company has started working with the respective app developers to address the defect.

On the other hand, the manufacturer quoted that overheating is standard behavior for new iPhones and remains temporary. Although, Apple is ready to fix the iPhone 15 Pro overheating issue with the next iOS 17 update. Perhaps, it could be iOS 17.1 or iOS 17.0.3 version.

We have identified a few conditions that can cause the iPhone to run warmer than expected. The device may feel warmer during the first few days after setting up or restoring the device because of increased background activity. We have also found a bug in iOS 17 that is impacting some users and will be addressed in a software update.
