Next-gen MacBook Pro with mini LED may not ship until late 2021

A person familiar with the industry said that due to the production capacity of mini LED screens, the smaller 14-inch MacBook Pro will enter mass production in the fourth quarter of this year, while the larger 16-inch MacBook Pro will only be produced in the first quarter of next year.

Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives also recently revealed that Apple plans to release the new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro mentioned above at the WWDC 21 conference on June 8.

The bottom is flatter and has more ports, including the return of the HDMI port, SD card slot, and MagSafe magnetic power interface. The new model will also use a mini LED display, equipped with Apple’s self-developed M-series chips, and at the same time, the Touch Bar will be canceled in favor of physical buttons.
