HMD Global launched the latest flip phone, but it is not a flagship phone with a folding screen, but a feature phone. The Nokia 2780 Flip comes with a good old-fashioned flip design, supports the T9 keyboard, and doesn’t have a touchscreen.

The phone features a 2.7-inch TFT main display on the inside and a 1.77-inch secondary display on the outside. The flip also supports a 5-megapixel camera with a fixed focal length and LED flash.
The Nokia 2780 Flip is powered by a Qualcomm 215 chip with a quad-core CPU at 1.3 GHz and an X5 LTE modem with a peak downlink speed of 150Mbps. The phone does support VoLTE and RTT – real-time text messaging, allowing messages to be sent during a call.
Moreover, the phone is equipped with 512MB of internal storage and 4GB of memory, runs the KaiOS 3.1 system, and other features include FM radio broadcasting and MP3 support, as well as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n support. The Nokia 2780 Flip also comes with a 1450mAh removable battery, which is very rare these days.
The Nokia 2780 Flip sounds a lot like the Nokia 2760 Flip, but the main differentiating changes are the former’s support for FM radio, and two different colors – red and blue. The Nokia 2780 Flip is priced at $90 and will go on sale in the US on November 15.
