Xiaomi has started rolling out a new software update for the Redmi Note 12R devices, which installs the latest October 2023 security patch. Notably, the firmware is making its way to the home ground (China) via the MIUI build version V14.0.6.0.TMWCNXM.
October 2023 update will work to improve the overall stability of your Redmi Note 12R smartphone and make its performance even better. It further enhances the safety and reliability grades and resolves some common bugs and issues, that may have been discovered in the system.
To download the latest firmware, open the Settings app and click on the About Phone option. Here, tap on the System and Update menu and then press the MIUI version. The system will now fetch the latest version for your device. Once it’s done hit the Download button and Install the update for a more optimized performance.
