One UI 6.0 update could bring Seamless Updates to Samsung devices
It’s no secret that One UI 5.0 has made a big splash in the global markets, and over that, in a recent interview, Samsung started talking and thinking about the One UI 6.0 as it will pack with ‘no feature lacking‘ for users in terms of seamless updates.
We all are aware that Samsung UI’s the most compatible software as compared to other OEMs. However, as per our source, Samsung vice president ‘Hysesoon (Sally) Jeong recently stated that exciting new features come with the newest software version. She also stated that the Galaxy S22 line of smartphones will be the first to get the stable software upgrade, before the end of October.

In an interview with the Android Authority, She provided a lot more details on One UI 5, gave a behind-the-scenes look at how Samsung’s Android skin was created, and even speculated about what One UI 6 would look like in the future. She also discussed the importance of Samsung’s update commitment.
Additionally, she said that all the recent Samsung flagships will have the latest One UI updated by the end of 2022, including Galaxy S21 series. So Samsung Galaxy users get ready to experience the stable update soon.
But a little disappointing statement is that Samsung One UI 6.0 will improve the seamless updates, which should be improved with One UI 5.0 software. As of right now, Samsung’s smartphones do not support Android’s Seamless Updates feature, which means that anytime a firmware update is available, you must wait for 10 to 20 minutes while the update is installed.
Seamless Updates for Galaxy phones and tablets are being developed by Samsung, according to Sally. She anticipates that the feature will be released as part of the One UI 6.0 update sometime in 2023.
