One UI 6 made Samsung Weather app more functional

Posted on

With each iteration of a One UI, Samsung strives to elevate user experiences to new heights. One UI 6, the latest installment in this sequence, has taken a significant step forward by enhancing the functionality and feature set of various applications, including the Samsung Weather app.

By bringing dozens of new features, improvements, and changes, One UI 6 made the Samsung Weather app more functional. One of the best examples of this is the inclusion of a Weather widget. The latest software added a new weather widget, that provides more information about your local weather conditions.

It means you can now be aware of every single happening such as severe thunderstorms, snow, rain, and other events that are on the forecast. Simultaneously, information about snowfall, moon phases and times, atmospheric pressure, visibility distance, dew point, and wind direction is also now available in the application.

The application also provides an interactive map view, you can now swipe to move around the map and tap a location to view the local weather conditions. This will help you find weather information even if you don’t know the name of the city.

In addition, the One UI 6 has enhanced the weather widget app illustrations, to provide more better information about the current weather conditions. Last but not least, the background colors also change depending on the time of the day.

To be noted the One UI 6 is currently available for Galaxy S23 devices through the Beta version and we could see more changes and optimizations in the Weather app with upcoming builds.
