Posted on

OnePlus 10R is receiving an A.06 software update and it’s not a usual upgrade for this smartphone. This update comes with improvements and optimizations for different sections of the OxygenOS including the Camera, System, communication, and other important feature.

This update is rolling out in batches via the OTA method and a broader rollout will be carried out in the upcoming days.

OnePlus 10R A.06 has a full build version of CPH2423_11.A.06 as has been noted in India. This firmware has new improvements for system stability that improve the user experience with the latest changes made to the software system. Meanwhile, it also applies fixes for charging, home screen lags, and issues of uncertain behavior in some mobile applications.

In terms of security, the update installs the latest security patches released in June 2022 combined with solutions from OnePlus and Android.

Next comes the communication, OnePlus has optimized the overall WiFi features and performance for better connectivity. However, an interest factor lies in the Camera section, as it has got optimization for the exposure for video calls, which may be related to the brightness control or brightness management.

Furthermore, the OnePlus 10R camera gets optimizations for shooting effects for an improved photography experience. The camera app is also getting a fix that occurs occasionally on the display while using the selfie camera. Last but not least, OnePlus has fixed an issue in Amap that might freeze while operating in some situations.

This is quite a massive upgrade for the OnePlus 10R smartphone and you should grab your share of the OnePlus 10R A.06 update as it arrives on your phone.

Moreover, users of this phone have the option to report bugs by opening the Google Dialer and typing *#800#, and finding a menu that allows you to submit bugs. However, this reporting service is only available for Indian users for the time being.

If you haven’t already, we suggest you keep on looking for the updates via Settings on your OnePlus 10R smartphone.
