July 20, 2022 – OnePlus 10T 5G teaser image appeared ahead of launch.

The OnePlus 10T 5G is apparently coming soon, and a teaser image of the phone has just surfaced. There have been CAD-based renders of the phone and other leaks, but the image appears to be exclusive to OnePlus.

It was published by PriceBaba and the site was provided by “Reputable Tercomi”. The image below shows the “Black Moon” model of the OnePlus 10 T5G. You can see that the back of the phone is on display here, with the OnePlus logo re-centered. Well, it looks like there’s an interesting pattern behind it.

Looking at the lighting in this image, it’s hard to tell whether it’s a textured back panel or a pattern under the glass. The difference between the two is huge, one can add grip and the other looks a little different on the back.

  • OnePlus 10T 5G certification confirms 160W fast charging

OnePlus 10T 5G has just been certified by the 3C authority in China. This certification confirmed 160W fast wired charging for the OnePlus 10T 5G. Note that India is tipped to get 150W charging, for whatever reason, at least based on a recent rumor. That being said, the OnePlus 10T 5G is also said to forgo wireless charging altogether. To keep the price attractive, OnePlus will have to cut costs somewhere.

Update: July 01, 2022- OnePlus 10RT to launch in India soon, device spotted on BIS

OnePlus 10RT has also received BIS certification with model number CPH2413. Apart from this, Mukul has also revealed some specs, which suggest that the OnePlus 10RT will come with a triple rear camera setup, two color options, and a 120Hz AMOLED panel.

Update: June 30, 2022 – New OnePlus 10T renders show off familiar wrap-around camera design

OnePlus 10T renders have been compiled by the ever-trusted @OnLeaks and published via the Indian price-comparison site Smartprix. The images show a moderately refined design on the OnePlus 10 Pro – the most recent flagship from the Chinese smartphone maker.

These high-quality 3D renders of the OnePlus 10T are based on factory schematics and were accompanied by some of the proposed specifications. It is unclear whether these come from OnLeaks, but the OnePlus 10T is said to come with a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display at an FHD+ resolution.

Update: June 29, 2022 – Global color options of OnePlus 10T revealed ahead of launch

Ahead of its launch, a well-known tipster (@passionategeekz has revealed the color options of the device. According to Paras, the smartphone will debut in two color variants in India and other global markets. These are Moonstone Black and Jade Green.

The device was earlier tipped to deliver better gaming performance than the current flagship OnePlus 10 Pro. This increase in performance is accompanied by a significant drop in overall temperature during continuous load scenarios.

Update: OnePlus 10T 5G will look similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro

The OnePlus 10T 5G design will be somewhat similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro. The OnePlus 10T 5G has appeared on the renders, showing both its front and rear sides. Based on those images, the rear camera settings will vary slightly, and the display will be flat. The OnePlus 10T 5G also does not seem to include an alert slide, which may annoy some people.

You will also notice that the bezels on the phone are really small, but the lower bezel is still thicker than the others. The OnePlus logo can be seen in the background, and the back of the device rotates to the sides. Do not expect the headphone jack to be installed here, but stereo speakers will be part of the package, as there will be a USB C port at the bottom, also the bar will be made of metal and glass.

Update: Powerful list of specifications includes the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1

As mentioned earlier, the device will include compelling specifications. However, this was to be expected. So, what can we expect? Well, let’s start with SoC. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 has been touched to impress this hand. So, the OnePlus 10T 5G will have a more powerful SoC than the OnePlus 10 Pro, which is interesting. This SoC offers better performance, power consumption, and thermals.

Update: There will be two types of RAM and storage

Furthermore, the company is set to offer two different variants of the device, one with 8GB RAM and 128GB flash storage, and the other with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. OnePlus is ready to use LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage in both models. There is expected to be a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 120Hz.

It is expected to be an LTPO panel, and support touch levels of 360Hz. HDR10+ content will be supported, and the display will deliver 10-bit colors. If it lays flat, as the leak has recommended, then the phone will be wider due to that display size.

Update: You can also expect 150W charging support

It is expected to come with a 4,800mAh battery along with a 150W fast charging cable. Hence, the OnePlus 10T 5G can at least outdo its sibling in the charging department when it comes to cable charging. It is one of the most cost-effective ways in which a company can operate. The leak also mentioned Bluetooth 5.3, as well as a fingerprint scanner. We are not sure if OnePlus will be using an optical or ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, but it could be the first.

Update: Quad cameras to be equipped with Hasselblad branding

It looks like the OnePlus 10T 5G will have three rear cameras and one front. A 50-megapixel main camera (1/1.5″ sensor will be the star of the show, backed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. The third rear camera will be a 2-megapixel camera.

When it comes to the front-facing camera, a 16-megapixel unit will fit, it seems. Hasselblad will be part of the picture again, as was the case with the OnePlus 10 Pro. OnePlus’ partnership with Hasselblad continues, and you can expect the same from the OnePlus 11. It remains to be seen whether Hasselblad will play a different role in this.

Update: OnePlus 10T 5G will cost much less than the OnePlus 10 Pro

OnePlus 10T 5G is coming this year, but we still don’t know when. The OnePlus 10T 5G could actually be more affordable than the OnePlus 10 Pro. Based on a tip from China, the phone will cost between CNY3,000 ($467) and CNY4,000 ($596) in China.
