OnePlus 11R enters OxygenOS 14 closed beta pool

OnePlus has now opened the OxygenOS 14 closed beta program for the OnePlus 11R models. The Chinese OEM has started speeding up the beta activity for its flagship members and will bring new offerings to more devices in the upcoming days.

OnePlus 11R is one of the most popular smartphones with interesting features and capabilities. Meanwhile, the tech giant is serving it with the major Android 14-based beta to test the latest functions ahead of the official rollout!

However, the OxygenOS 14 closed beta program for OnePlus 11R is currently open for a limited number of testers. Hence without any delays, let’s jump into the eligibility criteria and application details.

According to the inputs, the manufacturer is inviting 500 people to join the closed beta program. To participate in the OxygenOS 14 testing phase, you must meet the below-given requirements:

  • Users should have a OnePlus 11R (India variant)
  • Should be an active OnePlus Community member
  • Regularly communicate and report issues/suggestions to the OnePlus team through the Feedback App.
  • Willing to join the CBT (Closed Beta Test) Telegram group to communicate with the OnePlus team and other users actively.

In case you meet all the above-mentioned points then you can proceed with the ‘How to apply’ method. Note that being a beta build, it could bring some bugs on board. These include:

Known Issues

  • “The service governance framework has stopped running” error while on standby on the Storage page.
  • Normal charging animation is displayed when using a 20W fast charger.
  • The charging icon on the lock screen does not show the decimal point.
  • “The network service has stopped running” error on the mobile network page.
  • Black screen issue when returning to desktop after applying theme set.
  • The screen flashes after clicking the automatic brightness adjustment icon in the status bar under a dark environment.
  • Weather App error when turning on location or switching App clones.

How to Apply?

Make sure that your OnePlus 11R smartphone is running on the latest version CPH2487_13.1.0.581 (EX01). Besides, take a backup of all the important files and data beforehand. After taking these precautions, follow these steps:

Visit the Settings app > About Device. From here, click on the ‘Up to Date’ option and tap the settings icon on the top right corner. The screen will prompt some instructions which you need to follow carefully.
