A new OxygenOS 15 update (version 15.0.0.404) is now rolling out to OnePlus 12 users in India, with a global release expected soon. This update enhances performance, introduces AI-powered features, and boosts camera capabilities. Here are the key updates:
AI-Powered Tools
- AI Reply: Suggests responses based on chat context and supports multiple language styles.
- AI Check: Automatically detects and corrects grammar, spelling, punctuation, and other writing issues.
- AI Rewrite: Allows users to adjust text by extending, shortening, or editing it.
Camera Enhancements
- Added three new filters — Fresh, Emerald, and Clear — for Photo and Portrait modes.
- Introduced personalized watermarking options.
System Improvements
- Integrated December 2024 Android security patch for better security.
- Improved stability and compatibility of wireless connections.
- Enhanced Live Alerts to display flashlight status and charging details.
- Optimized floating window functionality and overall device performance, including better battery life.
The update is rolling out in stages, so some users may need to wait a little longer to receive it.
Nothing has started rolling out its stable Android 15-based OS update, Nothing OS 3.0, for the Phone 2 and 2a. Weighing around 1.65GB for the Phone 2 and 1.9GB for the 2a, the update introduces several new features:
