OnePlus releases OxygenOS Open Beta 12 for OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro, pulled after phone locked issue
OnePlus recently rolled out the OxygenOS Open Beta 12 for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro users. It included April 2020 security patch, camera lens dirt detection feature, and more.

After installing the Open Beta 12, OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro users complain that they are not able to unlock their devices. The OTA update has been pulled and not available for download. This issue is only limited to a few users but looks very serious.
We don’t have more information related to this issue but the company has not stopped the OTA rollout. The companies likely stopped the rollout due to major issues.

- Added a feature which can now detect dirt on the camera lens, prompting a quick cleanup for better image and video quality.
- The update is rolling out now for users. The incremental OTAs for both devices are about 316MB in size.
