OnePlus releases first OxygenOS Open Beta for the OnePlus 7T/7T Pro with Live Caption, RAM optimizations
OnePlus has released the first OxygenOS Open Beta build for the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro smartphones. The update adds the live caption feature and brings optimized RAM management.
It also brings the February 2020 Android security patch, enhanced contact details screen in the Phone app, and a fix for audio and video issues with preloading videos in the Gallery app.

Live Caption is an exciting new feature available on Android is part of this update. Live Caption detects speech in media and automatically generates captions. It’s effortless and handy for accessibility.
What’s more, if you want to watch the video in a noisy place or the elevator, etc., then Live Caption could be the feature that can help you keep track of the dialogues, rather than increasing your phone’s volume to avoid embarrassment in crowded places.
You can enable it in Settings – System – Accessibility – Live Caption, or directly from the Volume toggle.
Live Caption feature was introduced as Pixel 4 exclusive, it is now available on older Pixel phones as well as Samsung’s latest Galaxy S20 series smartphones.
